Best Performance

The Best Performance Competition (BPC) is a unique cumulative awards program open to Junior, Amateur, and Professional competitors in all divisions at USEF-recognized horse shows*. It recognizes competitive excellence and ensures that horses are cared for when their sport careers are over.

Horses do so much for us. This is what you can do for them!

Join the Best Performance Competition (BPC) here for an annual tax-deductible donation that covers all the shows for the competition year starting on December 1. Earn points in one of the following categories:

     •     Best Performance by a Junior
               •     11 & Under
               •     12-14
               •     15-17
     •     Best Performance by an Amateur
               •     Under 36
               •     36 & Over
     •     Best Performance by a Professional

Upon joining, you will receive a donation acknowledgement and the official EQUUS Foundation BPC armband to wear while competing.

In addition to the recognition of earning the title, Best Performance of the Year, each of the overall winners may select an equine charity on the Equine Welfare Network of the EQUUS Foundation to receive a grant valued at up to $5,000 awarded in the name of the winner.

What sets this program apart from other competitive awards programs is that it is uniquely designed to recognize consistency in performance and it is open to all disciplines and to all levels of competitions. For more details, click here.

Your donation will help rescue, rehabilitate and prevent unwanted horses, re-train horses when their sport careers are over, and re-home horses for new careers, including those serving the special needs and veterans communities. Fund a horse's future!

*For the inaugural 2016-2017 competition year, participation will be limited to the hunter and jumper disciplines with the goal going forward to embrace all disciplines that wish to participate.

The EQUUS Foundation is the only national charitable foundation dedicated solely to
ensuring the quality of life of horses and fostering the horse-human bond in the United States.
