Announcing the new Best Performance Competition for the 2016-2017 competition year!
Horses do so much for us. This is what you can do for them!
The Best Performance Competition (BPC) is a unique cumulative awards program open to Junior, Amateur, and Professional competitors in all divisions at all participating horse shows. The underlying mission is to reward competitive excellence and encourage education, awareness, and philanthropic support of horse welfare.
Join the Best Performance Competition (BPC) here for an annual tax-deductible donation that covers all the participating shows for the competition year starting on December 1. Earn points in one of the following categories:
• Best Performance by a Junior
• 11 & Under
• Best Performance by an Amateur
• Under 36
• 36 & Over
• Best Performance by a Professional
Upon joining, you will receive a donation acknowledgement and the official EQUUS Foundation BPC armband to wear while competing.
Your donation will help reduce the unwanted horse population, retrain horses for multiple careers, and make equine therapy available to more people with special needs.
In addition to the recognition of earning the title, Best Performance of the Year, each of the overall winners may select an equine charity on the Equine Welfare Network of the EQUUS Foundation to receive a grant valued at up to $5,000 awarded in the name of the winner.
What sets this program apart from other competitive awards programs is that it is uniquely designed to recognize consistency in performance and it is open to all disciplines and to all levels of competitions. For more details, click here.
