Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care of horses to provide its services.

100% of our total programs and services are horse-related.

Our organization conducts its horse-related programs at one facility.


Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The mission of Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center, Inc. is to provide benefits in the areas of therapy, education, sport and recreation, through the use of equine-assisted activities, for the purpose of contributing positively to the well-being of children and adults living with physical, emotional and/or cognitive disabilities. Manes & Motions strives to provide these benefits in a safe, compassionate, challenging and enjoyable environment.

Volunteer Opportunities


Volunteers Needed
Minimum Age: 14
Manes & Motions is seeking dedicated and compassionate community members who are interested in becoming active volunteers in our therapeutic riding program.
Although there are a variety of opportunities, most of our volunteers’ time is spent serving as side walkers or leaders during sessions. Many others work behind the scenes caring for horses or assisting with barn duties, fundraising efforts and various activities associated with the therapeutic riding center.
