Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Horse Welfare

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care of horses to provide its services.


Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt and GFAS certified organization dedicated to saving Premarin (PMU) mares and foals from slaughter and facilitating the rehabilitation and adoption of both our PMU mares and other abused, neglected and abandoned horses, including those rescued from the illegal drug trade.

Do You Love Horses? Volunteers Welcome!
Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuaryâ„¢, is run solely by volunteers. Our efforts continue to grow, and we are looking for individuals who want to spend time helping the horses. There are many projects that need to be done, whether you like the outdoors and want to help build or paint fences, or would rather be in the office on the computer and would like to help fundraise, send mailers, help with the newsletter, or just come and learn how to care for the horses, we welcome you!

All volunteers must complete a volunteer training class 1 & 2 prior to beginning work at the sanctuary. Classes are held the first Saturday of the month at Jumpin' Jack Ranch, home of Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary. Go to our Web site for more information!
