Volunteer Opportunities

5th Annual Good Ol' Fashioned Hoedown
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. On April 30th, we will turn the barn into a giant Hoedown styled party complete with good food, music, pony rides, and much much more! We invite everyone in the community to join in the festivities and last year had a record breaking 450 guests with 120 volunteers. We need help with the preparations of the event as well as the day of. There are a wide variety of assignments and we can find a good fit for pretty much anyone and everyone interested in helping make this day a success. You can help by yourself or bring a whole group of family/friends/coworkers.

Hoedown Decorations Committee Chair Needed
We need someone to be the Committee Chair for Decorations acquiring and setting up the decorations for our big fundraiser, the 5th Annual Good Ol' Fashioned Hoedown. You will be filling a much needed chair on our committee to make this event a great success. The event is April 30th. The committee is currently meeting twice a month, if you cannot attend every meeting that is OK. We already have the venue (our barn) and a crew (volunteers) to help set up. We really need someone to be the lead/point person.

Horses Helping People
We work 360 days a year with riders with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities ages 2-93 how to ride horses. We work on improving balance, strength, fine motor skills, confidence, decision making, social skills and so much more during each lesson. We need volunteers to help with Horse Leading and Side Walking in the lessons as well as much more outside of the lessons like office work, marketing, fundraising, etc. We host trainings the 2nd Saturday of every month 8:00-11:30am. RSVP is mandatory as we fill up quickly.
