Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care of horses to provide its services.


Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Educate the youth of our community about agricultural values and practices. Proper animal care will be taught in a supportive learning enviroment, with opportunities for discovery and leadership. Maintain the integrity of resources and facilities that we share with the people of Parma.


Volunteer Opportunities


Animal Care Volunteer
Minimum Age: 18
volunteers are needed daily to feed the animals at the farm. feeding hours are 6pm each evening and a tuesday morning slot is open for 8am. also animal care, stall cleaning and grooming on sat. 8am until we are finished. also people needed for school tours during the summer and at our monthly events. no experience with animals needed. we will teach

we always need apples and carrots for the horses, hay, bedding and monetary donations to purchase feed. also a laptop computer, portable dvd player and horse equipment for the members of the youth group. also lettuce and cheerios as well as cat food, both wet and dry; for other animals on the farm.
