Volunteer Opportunities

Horse Therapy
Besides helping to rehabilitate horses, are plans are to help troubled kids and vet’s in learning to love and be loved by these horses. Some of these kids have had hard lives and some even have had to love on the streets having received no love from anyone. We want to give them some hope in life.

High School Students
We encourage local High School Student to come and do their required volunteer work with us. By doing this, they also learn how poorly some animals can be treated, and they also learn what it’s like to have a horse show gratitude and love for being cared for. By doing this, they also help get the word out about animal abuse and what can be done about it.

Wish List Items

Grants For Down Payment On Property
We have been working at obtaining grants money to help us obtain property. Looking at a place over 10 ac that we can set up the way we want it.

Grants For Vet Bills
As you know, Doctor, ferrery, and Medications all cost alot of money. We do get some relief from the Vet's, but need cash to help pay the bills. We do get hay from the Oregon Hay Bank as needed, but also need to buy specialty foods for some oof the starved horses.

Grants For Transportation
We are on call with the local Sherriff, Fire Dept, and Oregon Hay Bank. When we are called to help, fuel for our truck comes out of our pocket but would be nice to have money on hand so we can respond with out worry of fuel costs.

Tack And Medical Supplies
We are still in need of tack items, blankets, and Medical treatment items. This also includes light saddles for retraining.
