Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Our Mission - Provide hope, a place for healing, and an opportunity to thrive through the healing partnership of our horses!
At Unbridled Change, we aim to rebuild hope where it’s been lost. We work with those that are struggling to live the life they want due to the echos and obstacles of the past. Our focus lies on supporting the individual, the family, and the community, including private/family therapy sessions, group therapy, workshops, community awareness, and professional educational opportunities - all through the partnership of horses. We firmly believe that every person is worthy of love and is a beautiful complete being already, however sometimes we loose sight of our inner strength due to an ocean of fears, trauma, and pain. Our job is to help support our clients build a bridge over that ocean and reconnect to their true self.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy - outpatient mental health utilizing EAP/EFP is our main focus working with over 90% of our clients.
Rhythmic Riding - a hybrid of mental health and therapeutic riding in which the goal is to develop self-regulation and stress management skills.
Equine Assisted Learning - all varieties working mainly with veterans and vocational training.
PTSD Program - Offers support to EAP/EFP services to veterans in groups of 10-15
We do not provide any services that do not involve EAAT, outside of speaking at professional conferences about EAAT.
