Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Horse Welfare

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care of horses to provide its services.

Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Stable Companion is a non-profit organization that rescues, re-homes, and rehabilitates companion animals. Our primary focus is abused, abandoned, and broken animals. We believe that companion animals, who have suffered a loss, make the best pets for anyone who has ever come back from a loss in their life.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Needed At Charity

Wish List Items

Electrical Supplies
We need a breaker box and breakers, 400 ft. of romax electrical wire, and conduit to install electricity to our new barn. Barn lights are also needed.

Need Disc Or Plow
We need a disc or plow to reseed our pastures, the old one has permanently died.

Drill A Water Well
We would like to drill a water well at our facility. The aquifer is at 300 ft. and the cost is about $8000. Our current water bills are running at $500-600/month.

Stall Materials
We need to add 8 stalls to our new round pen building. It requires 2X4s and 2X12s for the stall walls, and metal channels to put the lumber in.

We Would Like To Have A Hay Rake
We would like to have a hay rake to do our hay with.

Deer Fencing
We are a state licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and we need to build a deer sanctuary. The project requires 12 ft. posts about 30 total, and 200 ft. of 10 ft. tall fencing.

Backhoe Attachment For Tractor
We would love to have a backhoe attachment for our big tractor. It would make new construction and digging holes alot easier.

Hay Baler Small Square Or Round Baler
We would like to have a hay baler either a small square baler or a round baler so we can do our own hay.
