HOW POINTS ARE CALCULATED
Class points at each participating show are earned for each horse/pony shown by the member based on the table:
The total of the class points earned at each show for each horse shown by the member is divided by the number of classes entered.
For complete details, please download Best Performance Competition Rules here.
The standings reflect the member’s best “6” shows. If the horse/pony shown by the member competes in more than six (6) shows, the standings will reflect the shows where the member and horse/pony scored the highest BPC points.
Standings will be displayed for each participating discipline by show rating, i.e.: USEF Premier (AA); National (A); and USEF Regional (B & C). Standings will also be displayed by show series at the show’s request.
The overall winners will be recognized along with the winners at each show. In addition to the recognition of earning the title, Best Performance of the Year, each of the overall winners may select an equine charity on the Equine Welfare Network of the EQUUS Foundation to receive a grant valued at up to $5,000 awarded in the name of the winner.
