Enhanced Exhibitor Experience at Upcoming Fairfield June Show

The upcoming Fairfield June Show will not only feature top notch equestrian competition, philanthropy and family entertainment for spectators, it will also offer amenities to enhance the exhibitor experience, thanks in large part to the show sponsors.

Taking place this year from Tuesday, June 21st - Saturday, June 25th in Westport, CT, Fairfield continues to focus on creature comforts for exhibitors and spectators including the complimentary "open access" Hospitality Tent overlooking two of the four competitive show rings and free wifi.

Triple Crown Feed (TCF) will be hosting a party with wine, cheese and hors d'oeuvres for exhibitors on Wednesday from 4pm to 6pm as well as complimentary wine & cheese from 4pm to 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday. TCF representatives will be on hand to meet & greet and answer product questions and feeding needs.

EQUUS Foundation Best Performance Competition Fairfield will once again offer the EQUUS Foundation Best Performance Competition. Endorsed by the USEF, the Best Performance Competition is a unique cumulative awards program open to juniors, amateurs and professionals, that recognizes competitive excellence and also raises funds for unwanted and underutilized horses in the United States.

This year, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Global Corporate Services will sponsor the four sections:
• Best Junior on a Pony,
• Best Junior on a Horse,
• Best Amateur and
• Best Professional

Winners are selected by the judges from among the exhibitors wearing the EQUUS Foundation armband.

New this year, the Fairfield show will offer the Open Equitation Trainer's Award presented by Fairfield Equine Associates. A $1,500 cash prize will be awarded to the trainer of the Open Equitation Champion.

Attention Jumper Riders:
  • The prize money for the Fairfield Grand Prix presented by Wells Fargo Advisors LLC & George N. Venizelos has been increased to $30,000 from $25,000 and the winner will also receive a MINI Cooper to be driven for the duration of the summer thanks to Official Vehicle Sponsor, Callaricars.com.
  • The prize money has also been increased to $10,000 from $7,500 for the Terex Welcome Jumper Stake.
  • The 2016 Overall Children's Jumper Champion will be the first recipient of the Aragorn Memorial Perpetual Trophy and receive a $5,000 cash prize.

The Fairfield show is open to the public with no admission fee and free parking. Exhibitors and spectators are welcome to watch the show from the Hospitality Tent on Tuesday through Friday. On Saturday, the tent will be open only to guests attending the EQUUS Foundation Grand Prix Luncheon.
