Final Guardian Wrap-Up Webinar Set for Tuesday, March 24

On behalf of the EQUUS Foundation, thank you for all the wonderful work you do! The EQUUS Foundation primarily operates remotely so we are continuing to function as normally as possible.

As you know, only equine charities that receive the 2020 EQUUS Foundation Guardian Seal of Transparency are eligible for our financial support. The deadline is April 30 but, due to these extenuating circumstances, is flexible.

The final webinar on the Guardian process on Tuesday, March 24, at 1 pm, will briefly focus on the equine census and equine costs sections but will also include an overview of each section and the opportunity for questions and answers. We hope you will join us!

WRAP UP:
THE IMPORTANCE OF EQUINE RECORD KEEPING
An overview and guide to complete the Guardian equine census and equine costs sections
and a question and answer session on the Guardian process

It's more important now - more than ever before -- with the advent of the internet and social media and the ease in which misleading information can be disseminated -- that the very best equine charities are nationally recognized and have the greatest opportunity to receive financial support.

We only support those equine charities dedicated to the highest standard for horse care and those that demonstrate their willingness to be fully transparent. All Guardian charities make their policies and horse care practices available for public scrutiny.

Our goal is to have every deserving equine charity recognized as a Guardian to ensure that donor dollars are being spent on programs with the greatest impact – whether those dollars are donated through the EQUUS Foundation or donated directly to our Guardian charities.
