Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization does not use, care for, or shelter horses to fulfill our mission.

Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The volunteer members of the Little Fork Fire and Rescue Company proudly protect the quality of life, social, economic and environmental infrastructure of the northern end of Culpeper County. In addition to providing fire and EMS service to our community, we are the only volunteer Technical Large Animal Rescue Team in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Fire/Rescue Volunteer And Large Animal Rescue Tech
Minimum Age: 16
All members are certified as either an EMT or FF. After completion of this, interested members are trained as Large Animal Rescue Technicians

Rescue Horse Training Mannequin
We need a full size rescue horse mannequin to train new technicians and to keep our skills updated
