Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Providing free equine assisted activities to significantly improve the lives of children and adults with mental, physical, emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges.


Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization conducts Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) in accordance with the EQUUS Foundation Guidelines on Qualifications of Organizations Conducting Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).

Our organization provides community outreach and/or public education programs involving horses.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

100% of our total programs and services are horse-related.

Our organization conducts its horse-related programs at one facility.

Heartland Horses would like to invite you to become a part of our Volunteer Staff. Our Equine Activities & Learning facility is a volunteer driven organization that provides our Equine Interactions free of charge to help improve the lives of those facing challenges behaviorally, physically, mentally, emotionally, & or developmentally within our communities.
