Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The mission of the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation is to provide unwavering support for all those afflicted with or affected by pancreatic cancer, whether patient or family member, through the use of educational awareness, patient advocacy, direct financial resource, health and wellness support programs.
NPCF operates the Hope Healing Ranch located in Colorado that includes a whole body wellness approach for pancreatic cancer patients, family and health care practitioners, including equine therapy, trail riding, and horse care.
Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation): Public Service
Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.
TackAny type of used or new Tack that is fully functional, including any type of saddles, halters, Lead Ropes, Lunge Lines, Training Aids, Cinches, Barn and Stall equipment (feed buckets, troughs etc.)
3/4 Ton TruckThe Hope Healing Ranch for the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation is in search of a 3/4 ton truck with hitch hook up. We need the truck for pulling trailer, and plowing snow on property. Thank You!
2 HorsesThe Hope Healing Ranch is in search for 2 donated horses, older and gentle for therapy sessions. Thank You.
Hay (Feed)The Hope Healing Ranch is in need of annual supply or any part thereof of Hay for 4 horses. Thank You!
Tractor W/ Hay Fork AttachmentThe Hope Healing Ranch is looking for a used or new tractor with Hay Fork attachments and if possible with bucket. Thank You!
