Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
MBHTC serves the special needs community. We offer therapeutic riding and equine assisted activities for kids and young adults with physical, emotional, behavioral and mental disabilities. We promote and cultivate community participation in all aspects of our working ranch.


Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Horses And The Special Needs Community
Minimum Age: 16
Rewarding opportunity to work with the special needs community and horses! The target population of MBHTC is an ethnically diverse group of children and adults from all socio-economic backgrounds with disabilities including physical, mental, cognitive and communicative disorders.

MBHTC needs: Barn Buddies for special needs kids, side-walkers, horse care, facility maintenance.
