Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Our mission is to rescue abused, neglected and slaughter-bound horses. After rescue, we rehabilitate, re-train and re-home them. Some are used in our therapeutic programs (EAGALA model). Horses that are not suitable for adoption are retired as full time residents.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Horse Welfare

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization's primary activity is equine rescue, adoption & retirement.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

100% of our total programs and services are horse-related.

Our organization conducts its horse-related programs at one facility.

Wish List Items

Wish List
We need 4 things: Money, Hay, Feed, Shavings - in that order. We are also in need of a round pen and a vehicle (golf cart) to get around this enormous property.

We are lucky enough to be the recipient of many blankets, turnout gear, tack, tack boxes, pads, etc. We have enough of these items for a while since a nearby farm closed and donated all their items to us!

*Guardians are organizations on the Equine Welfare Network that demonstrate a commitment to public transparency and accountability by their willingness to publish and share extensive data about their operations. The Guardian Designation is awarded annually.
