Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Our Mission Statement:
To be the foremost animal-facilitated activities and Certified Therapy Horse Training facility in Northern California.
To be able to help heal those men, woman, and children that suffer from severe traumas, PTSD, drug addictions, and alcoholism, along with foster children, autistic adults/children and their families, through the relationships developed with our horses and other animals.
To be able to not ask for payment from those individuals in order to help their healing.
To provide Certified Therapy Horses to any wounded human that seeks to find healing from the spirit of the horse, through grants and other fund development efforts.
To offer natural horsemanship education, with the opportunity to learn how to ride.
Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation): Horse Welfare
Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.
Our organization's primary activity is equine rescue, adoption & retirement.Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.
Our organization conducts Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) programs with instructors, specialists, counselors, trainers and/or facilitators who have certified training for their scope of practice applicable to the people participating in the programs and specific to the program offerings - serving as staff (full-time or part-time), as independent contractors, and/or as service providers, serving in a volunteer capacity, or accompanying clients when participating in our programs.
Our organization provides community outreach and/or public education programs involving horses.
