Our Mission is to rescue horses who are abused, neglected, or unwanted. When these beautiful animals arrive, we give them a new educational and recuperative purpose in retirement and through our equine therapy programs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

75% of our total programs and services are horse-related.

Our organization operates programs involved with horses and other animals.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Needed
We have a multitude of needs: horse care (feeding, cleaning stalls and paddocks, filling and cleaning water troughs/buckets, chicken coops, and other tasks that need to be completed on a daily basis); facility maintenance (barn maintenance, fence checks, fence installation and repairs, weed control, tree maintenance, and other typical activities); fundraising, grant research and writing; administration/organization, outreach; events; special projects; etc. We need help with trailering/transportation at special events, coordinating volunteers, event organization, processing adoption applications, checking references, doing site visits, and follow-up visits. If you are not sure where you fit in, we can discuss to find out where your skills are best suited.

Wish List Items

Overhead & Therapy Arena
Our overhead is extremely high with 29 equines and we would like a grant to cover the medical and feed costs incurred.

We need an indoor ring to continue our equine therapy all year long. We are hoping to raise $100,000.
