Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Our primary mission is to rescue horses that have been abandoned or abused and find committed individuals to providing them with a new loving caring environment. Our extended mission is to provide aged horses with a natural setting to live during their remaining years and to introduce various groups of people to the fascinating culture of the horse.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Horse Welfare

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Volunteer Opportunities

"It's All About The Horse"
Minimum Age: 8
White Rock Ranch Horse Rescue and Retirement Inc. values their volunteers. There are no employees so WRR could not exist without the community and their help. The horses need and deserve attention, including riding, love, grooming, and touching. Rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption is a goal for all adoptable horses. Each volunteer gives a gift to the horses that is priceless, hope and love. WRR is proud to be part of the community with their 22 horses.
