Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Dreamchaser Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, works to rescue and rehabilitate horses and other farm animals from abuse, starvation, abandonment, and slaughter. Our goal is to educate the general public, including children, teens, and those who are under-privileged and at-risk, through our hands on learning center. Volunteers and participants learn and experience the value of caring for and maintaining horses and other animals at our rescue. We adopt the rehabilitated horses into qualified homes, except for the sanctuary mares who participate in programs for foster children.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Horse Welfare

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Coordinator
Minimum Age: 21
We need YOU to learn the workings of the ranch and be willing to coordinate volunteers - schedules, training, etc. We never leave the ranch untended, and we need special people who care about Dreamchaser and its many animals.

Minimum Age: 16
We definitely need a person willing to help us with marketing and public relations. Can you help us with this? We work so hard with care, maintenance, and administration, that we cannot do a great job with marketing. We need your ideas, advice, and experience!

Do You Want To Help Us?
