Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To enhance the lives of individuals who have special needs through equine assisted activities and therapies while leading the industry in education.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Volunteer Opportunities

Office Work
Minimum Age: 14

Summer Camp Assistant
Minimum Age: 14
Assist instructors in all activites (on and off horses)

Minimum Age: 14
Gardening, lawn maintenance, landscaping, painting, ect.

Special Events
Minimum Age: 14
Assist where needed in special events open to the public. These events are generally held on weekends.

Hippotherapy Assistant
Minimum Age: 14
Assist physical therapist as a side-walker. This position requires special training.

Barn Work
Minimum Age: 14
Cleaning stalls, sweeping, grooming, feeding, watering horses

Equine Management Team
Minimum Age: 14
Assist instructors in the physical and emotional maintenance of the horses. This involves exercising the horses, performing some stretching exercises, and behavior management activities. This particular position requires instructor approval.

Committee Member For Fundraisers
Minimum Age: 18
Open to those who have a passion for planning. We're always on the lookout for creative individuals looking to donate their time and talent to raise money for our cause!

Minimum Age: 14
Assist in classes by either leading a horse (while student is riding) or sidewalking (walking beside the student while keeping an eye on their position and actions and assisting the instructor in focusing their attention)
