Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To provide equine related activities to individuals with physical, mental and emotional disabilities.


Volunteer Opportunities


Leaders And Sidewalkers Needed
Minimum Age: 14
Leaders and Sidewalkers needed to particpate in handicapped riding lessons on Sundays from 11:15 - 5 and on evenings from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Program is located at In-Stride Equestrian Center in Eighty Four, PA.

Handicapped riding program is looking for the following tack:
Leadline saddles
english saddles
western saddles
Helmets
trail bridles
reins with snap ends
English Stirrup leathers (child and adult length)
Peacock Stirrups
Halters (rope and nylon)
Lead ropes
Girths - english and western (pony size/small horse)
Paddock boots - childrens sizes
Grooming supplies - brushes, combs, etc.

Salt Blocks

Rider Sponsorship
Rider Sponsorship: $35 per lesson, $140 per month. This will provide free lessons to families in need.
