Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation): Public Service
Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.Our organization uses horses to provide our services that are cared for and sheltered by another organization(s).
Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To promote the well being of individuals through the therapeutic benefit of horseback riding, subject to the consent of their medical advisors or other appropriate counsel, and to provide proper training for instructors and volunteers for the above purposes.
Volunteers NeededMinimum Age: 13Volunteers assist during session (days of operation are Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and Friday mornings) with leading horses and sidewalking with riders. Please contact us for more information.
Items NeededWe are always in need of tack, safety stirrups, helmets, and games for the kids to play with amoung other items. Please feel free to contact us if you're willing to make a tax free donation to HOPE Equestrian Center
