Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Bethany’s Gait is a horse ranch “serving those who have served.” Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and restore the lives of active duty, reserve and veteran military, first responders, their families and horses in need. We reach our mission through equine facilitated psychotherapy, a mentor program and leadership training.

Our programming includes one on one therapy and mentor sessions for local clients, therapeutic retreats for members of the Wounded Warrior Battalion West, and leadership training for student veterans at the local colleges.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.
