Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The mission of the Therapy and Learning Center is to help individuals with disabilities achieve their full potential through Therapy, Learning, and Care. The Therapy and Learning Center operates a therapuetic riding program called the Reinbow Riding Academy. The Academy offers hippotherapy and therapeutic riding services using certified instructers, who are also physical and occupational therapists one a week from March through October in an indoor riding facility. For 13 years we have provided equestrian activities and therapy to all individuals who may benefit regardless of their ability to pay. For the past four years, all our clients have ridden at no charge to families through fundraising efforts and support from the local community. We are seeking funding opportunities that will allow us to continue to scholarship our riders in the future.
