DreamPower Foundation, Inc. offers equine-assisted activities and therapies to children, teens and adults with mental, emotional, behavioral, physical and medical special needs.
Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation): Public Service
Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.
Horse Handler In Therapeutic Horsemanship LessonsMinimum Age: 14Volunteers age 14 and up with horse experience are sought to assist in therapeutic horseback riding and groundwork lessons with children, teens and adults with special needs. Duties will include leading, grooming, tacking and caring for horses in therapeutic horsemanship lessons.
Volunteers To Help With Barn Cleaning And ChoresMinimum Age: 14Physically strong volunteers age 14 and up are sought to help stall cleaning, ranch chores, cleaning water buckets, raking, gardening, etc. at a therapeutic horsemanship program in Gilroy, CA. We have a beautiful ranch fully maintained by volunteers. Community service hours are welcome!
