Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.


Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Mountain View Rescue is dedicated to abused, neglected and unwanted horses. Once rescued, horses will be rehabilitated and adopted into hand selected life long homes. In addition to the care and rehoming of unwanted horses, Mountain View Rescue provides continuing adult and youth education in order to encourage responsible ownership of horses.

Driving Or Saddle Seat Trainer Wanted
Minimum Age: 25
We are seeking a driving or saddle seat trainer in KY or TN who would be willing to provide training and show experience to our Saddle bred/ Friesian cross Midnight. For more info, please email us.

Horse Trailer Needed
We are soliciting the donation of a new or lightly used stock type horse trailer for rescue purposes. Currently our org depends on volunteer or Board of Director trailers, which is not appropriate in times of emergency or disaster.

Truck Needed!
We are soliciting the donation of a new or lightly used 4x4 truck for rescue purposes. Currently our org depends on volunteer or Board of Director vehicles, which is not appropriate in times of emergency or disaster.
