Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation): Public Service
Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs. Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.
Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The IEA was organized to promote and improve the quality of equestrian competition and instruction available to middle and secondary school students. Its purpose is to set standards for competition, provide information concerning the creation and development of school-associated equestrian sport programs, and to generally promote the common interest of safe riding instruction, competition, and education on matters related to equestrian competition at the middle and secondary school levels.
Volunteers NeededBrave Meadows is in need of volunteers, especially every Saturday where we do most of our hippotherapy lessons. We start therapy lessons usually after lunch until 4 or 5 in the afternoon.
IEA Team DonationsWe have a Western and Huntseat IEA teams. Showing is very expensive! Our girls would appreciate any money donations to our teams to be used for traveling to shows and buying their show clothes for competitions.
