Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Horse Welfare

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
To provide a safe and loving environment for previously abused and neglected animals, with a lifelong commitment to their care, and to partner with these animals in offering programs to the general public that demonstrate the educational, therapeutic and spiritual value of a loving relationship with animals. We use he term spiritual to describe those intangible experiences that are life affirming and transformational in nature. Specifically, these programs are designed to increase personal awareness, promote effective communication, time management, a strong work ethic, collaboration and leadership skills to prepare children and adults for life's challenges.
We accomplish this mission by adopting special needs animals and by providing programs to the community at large for individuals of all ages and life circumstances.

Wish List Items

Kuhn Rotary Hay Rake
We are able to harvest out own hay but our hay rake, broke this past season and we need a replacement. For our fields of hay at 8500' elevation, the kuhn hay rakes seem to work the best.

1 Ton Flat Bed Truck With Center Bed Hitch
We would love to have a used 1 ton flatbed truck for hauling equipment and hay for our horses with a center bed hitch for a gooseneck trailer

We would really love to have a used Polaris, Gator or similar vehicle for hauling hay, feed and to help in transportation across 300 acres for managing the irrigation ditches
