Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The mission of the Easter Seals Blake Foundation is to enable each individual served to discover and meet his or her maximum potential for independent, productive living, and developmental growth. We will provide exceptional opportunities, supports, and services to the individuals we serve.

Campo Urbano is a SAGE program of Easter Seals Blake Foundation. Supported employees, adults with developmental disabilities, learn horsemanship skills and are responsible for the daily care of the ranch. We offer equine assisted therapy to low-income youth through our behavioral health programs; including individual therapy, adolescent youth groups, and summer camps.

Campo Urbano horses have been rescued, some have tangential experiences of abuse and neglect to the youth we serve. Our horses are also inspiration for the development of innovative desert friendly natural horse care.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.
