Nestlé Waters North America Returns as Official Beverage Sponsor of the Fairfield June Horse Show to benefit the EQUUS Foundation
WESTPORT, CT - May 15, 2013 - Thanks to Nestlé Waters North America (NWNA), Family Fun Day will again be a major highlight of the Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit Horse Show that benefits the EQUUS Foundation. Family Fun Day will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013, along with the $25,000 Grand Prix, the culminating event of the five-day show, which starts on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
Nestlé's Family Fun Day will feature free pony rides, a "horseless" horse show, and arts and crafts by the Giggling Pig from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
"We had such an enthusiastic crowd at our inaugural Family Fun Day in 2012, we've doubled the number of ponies that will be available for rides. Volunteers from the New Canaan Mounted Troop have graciously offered their services to run the program," said Horse Show Co-Chairs Jane Henderson, Michele Ippolito and Jennifer Ross.
"We hope everyone will also enjoy shopping at the horse show boutiques, have lunch at the food & beverage concession, and experience the thrill of Grand Prix show jumping, which will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m."

NWNA distributes more than 50 local brands in countries throughout the world. Featured at the Fairfield Show will be Poland Spring, a 100% natural spring water, sparkling, flavored and unflavored, dating back to 1845 and the number one bottled water in the northeastern United States.
Also featured will be some of NWNA'S most prestigious international brands - Acqua Panna from Tuscany, S.Pellegrino originating from the foothills of dolomite mountains in Italy, and Perrier from Provence in the South of France.
The VIP Tent will be transformed into a picturesque setting for the EQUUS Foundation Benefit Luncheon. The event, starting at 11:30 a.m., will include a champagne reception, silent auction, exquisite luncheon, and ringside views of the $25,000 Grand Prix presented by Wells Fargo Advisors & George N. Venizelos.

The VIP Tent will also be "the scene" on Thursday afternoon where it will be open to all to enjoy watching the $7,500 Poland Spring Welcome Jumper Stake. There will also be free activities on Thursday for the general public.
