Ariat International Renews Partnership with EQUUS Foundation
WESTPORT, CT - February 22, 2014 - The EQUUS Foundation is pleased to announce that leading Equestrian Footwear and Apparel Manufacturer, Ariat International, is continuing its partnership with the EQUUS Foundation, that was initiated in 2013.
As a key partner, Ariat will be the principal sponsor of the Foundation's equine service program, Champions, as well as serving as a sponsor of the Foundation’s two major fundraising events.

Ariat's support will enable the continued growth of one of the Foundation's main initiatives - to stimulate volunteerism within the equine community.
The CHAMPIONS program recognizes and rewards individuals and organizations on the Foundation's Equine Welfare Network.
Individuals achieving Champion status are eligible to win a grant for their favorite equine charity, apply for scholarships and receive gift certificates for Ariat products. The scholarship program was expanded this year to offer financial support to obtain CHA and PATH certification as well as academic and riding scholarships.
It's easy to become a CHAMPION - an individual must log a minimum of 24 volunteer hours from January 1st to December 31st.

Ariat will be a lead sponsor of the Foundation's two major charity events.
The funds raised at these events are used to support the Foundation's grant program. The Foundation has awarded nearly $2.5 million in grants to equine charities across the United States. Over 800 organizations participate on the Foundation's Equine Welfare Network.

Chaired by Jenny Belknap Kees and Chrystine Tauber, the star studded evening will celebrate the induction of ten extraordinary horses into the Horse Stars Hall of Fame and feature cocktails, an auction, dinner and dancing with a special performance by the American Vaulting Association international Friendship Team under the lights in the International Arena.
