Horses are extraordinary - as athletes and as humanitarians - that is the message of the virtual Horse Stars Hall of Fame established by the EQUUS Foundation and the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) in 2013 to celebrate the extraordinary talent of horses and the magical bond between horses and people.

Now, not only can you read stories the stories of amazing horses - there's more. The new interactive "Learn More About Horses" component features:

Horse Stars Hall of Fame


The new Horse Stars Hall of Fame mobile exhibit will be on display at the upcoming Washington International Horse Show, October 20-25, 2015 at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. The EQUUS Foundation co-sponsors Kids Day on Saturday, October 24, 2015, with Animal Planet.

Nominate an Extraordinary Horse!

Nominations are now open for the 2016 "Humanitarian" inductees!
The "Horses of Honor" selected by the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) are inducted annually in the "Athlete" category. "Humanitarian" inductees are selected by the EQUUS Foundation. The inductees will be honored at the EQUUS Foundation "Fete Cheval" on February 26, 2016 in Wellington, Florida.
