Daytime Drama, “Emmy,” is a 2022 mare who retired from racing simply for being non-competitive and donated to NBT through her racing connections. She stands 16.1 hands (we think with room to grow!), with a floaty trot and nice movement. She was retired sound with no known vices, and is just beginning her transition from the track to her next career. Emmy has been settling in nicely since arriving at NBT this winter and is starting her retraining with quiet groundwork and lunging sessions as she adjusts to her new routine. She has shown a willing attitude and a sensible mind, as she's now under saddle with us as of the summer of 2026. With her youth, athletic build, and balanced movement, Emmy has the potential to go in many directions with the right partner. She is one that you can truly finish and take on whatever direction you choose! She would do well with a rider or trainer who enjoys developing a young OTTB and helping a horse grow into their next career.
