Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Blue Rose Ranch is dedicated to the care and rescue of horses. We train and rehabilitate horses to the end that they can be successfully adopted to qualified persons with qualified facilities. We believe that working with horses promotes responsibility and self-esteem and have established youth riding and volunteer programs.
Horse WalkersIf you like horses and are walking for exercise anyway, join us at Blue Rose Ranch on Saturday mornings. We have horses who can no longer be ridden and need attention. Horse walkers groom a horse, lead the horse around the ranch, and share special grain with these horses.
Youth VolunteersMinimum Age: 8Youth ages 9-18 are invited to join us at the ranch to ride horses, help clean the horse facility, and to care for the horses. 2017 Introduction to Horses Camp June 12-16.
Indoor Riding Arena ContributorsBlue Rose Ranch constructed an indoor riding arena in January of 2016. We have an ongoing campaign to pay off the balance on the riding arena. The white rail fence lining the inside of the arena will display names in honor or memory of someone designated by contributors of $100. Please contact the ranch to reserve a plaque as part of our arena campaign.
