SCERGA is committed to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome (or provide sanctuary) for horses in need.

Volunteer Opportunities

Spa Days
We currently have horses that enjoy being dirty but we need to keep them in the practice of grooming.

Horse Exercise
Minimum Age: 13
We currently have 12 horses that need frequent exercise. They are all at intermediate or advanced level.

Wish List Items

4in X 8ft CCA Wood Posts
We are in need of around 400 wood posts to replace the T-posts currently in the ground. Any amount is welcome.

Corral Panels
We currently have a small arena secured by round pen panels and would love to build a permanent arena. We are looking for 12 ft. corral panels to finish our 'fence'.

*Guardians are organizations on the Equine Welfare Network that demonstrate a commitment to public transparency and accountability by their willingness to publish and share extensive data about their operations. The Guardian Designation is awarded annually.
