Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
We rescue, rehabilitate, and find qualified homes for abandoned, abused, retired, or relinquished horses. We treat our horses for any medical conditions and bring them up to speed on vaccinations, hoof and dental care. We train our qualified horses to be part of our therapeutic riding program, and we provide a forever sanctuary to senior horses.

Volunteer Opportunites
Minimum Age: 13
Hello, There are many volunteer opportunities available at Pet Place International's Rescue and Great Strides Therapeutic Riding Center. Please contact us regarding volunteering classes. We currently house horses, dogs, cats, alpacas, goats, pigs, bunnies, emus, peacocks, ducks, geese, and chickens. The opportunity to work with and help animals is endless.

In order to grow our program, our wish list includes expansion of stalls, arenas, special riding and safety equipment; and new mounting ramps.
