Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Our mission is to provide children with disabilities the opportunity to grow and develop through therapeutic, educational and recreational activities with horses.


Volunteer Opportunities


Supportive Sidewalker
Minimum Age: 16
Act as extension of instructor during lessons. Assist the rider with the grooming process. Walk next to child and horse and offer assistance or support if necessary.

Leader
Minimum Age: 16
Volunteer is responsible to get the horse groomed and tacked for the lesson. Lead the horse throughout the lesson and make sure the horse and all equipment are put where they need to be after the lesson.
