Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
At Bit-By-Bit our goal is to help all of our special needs clients become as independent, strong, and confident as possible through the magic of therapeutic horseback riding!

Our mission is to heal, educate, enrich, inspire and empower the lives of others in our community and nation through the gifts of the horse. We strive to provide professional and top-quality therapeutic services to the families of south Florida.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Needed
Minimum Age: 14
All volunteers must be 14 years or older and attend a mandatory orientation provided 2x a month. We provide all training no horse knowledge needed. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping disabled children and veterans. You can earn service hours or FREE riding lessons in exchange for your volunteering hours that can be discussed at orientation. Some assistance that we ask our volunteers to help with: leading, grooming, sidewalking, mucking stalls, barn maintenance, and volunteer at special events.
