SidewalkerMinimum Age: 16Sidewalkers assist in hippotherapy sessions by walking alongside the horse to help the therapist stabilize the patient and ensure safety. Starting off we ask volunteers to attend a volunteer orientation and then shadow a few sidewalking sessions. Hippotherapy sessions last for 30 minutes, but we ask volunteers to sign-up for a minimum of 1 hr and ideally a 2-4hours time frame in either the morning or afternoon. We are open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm.
