Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Premarin (PMU) mares and foals from neglect, abuse and slaughter. Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary is a voice for all horses and other equines who cannot speak for themselves, and works to end their senseless abuse, suffering and slaughter. Through education and building community awareness, we are confident we can enlighten the public about the horrors of the Premarin and horse slaughter industries, and be a catalyst for change so these noble creatures are able to live their lives free of abuse, pain and suffering.

We are involved with horses by rescuing, rehabilitation and rehoming. For those who cannot find homes, they will remain at the sanctuary.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Horse Welfare

Our organization operates programs involved with horse rescue, foster care, rehabilitation, adoption and/or retirement.

Volunteer Opportunities

Do You Love Horses? Volunteers Welcome!
Minimum Age: 4
Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary, is run primarily by volunteers. Our efforts continue to grow, and we are looking for individuals who want to spend time helping the horses. There are many projects that need to be done, whether you like the outdoors and want to help build or paint fences, or would rather be in the office on the computer and would like to help fundraise, send mailers, help with the newsletter, or just come and learn how to care for the horses, we welcome you!

All volunteers must complete a volunteer training class 1 & 2 prior to beginning work at the sanctuary. Classes are held the first Saturday of the month at Jumpin' Jack Ranch, home of Equine Voices Rescue & Sanctuary. Go to our Web site for more information!

Youth Volunteers Wanted!
We are looking for young volunteers! If you love horses, would like to learn all about them, and help us at our ranch, just go to our Web site for more information!
