Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Riding Unlimited it dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with physical, intellectual and emotional disabilities through the power of the horse. We teach horsemanship skills while incorporating a variety of therapies in addition to providing physical therapy on horseback in our Hippo therapy program.
We turn disabilities into possibilities, one ride at a time.


Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

100% of our total programs and services are horse-related.

Our organization conducts its horse-related programs at one facility.

Volunteer Opportunities


Social Media Support
Riding Unlimited in Ponder, TX is looking for someone local with experience with social media and a passion for making a difference! We need help promoting our organization through our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. This individual would collect media, post content, track usage, and work with one of our board members who manages our website. Special Event Committee
Minimum Age: 16
We are planning a barn dance in October of 2018 and are looking for people who might want to join our committees for planning and fundraising, decorating, food service, set up and tear down.

We are in need of a gently used truck able to haul a three horse trailer. Nothing fancy, just reliable.

Postage
Stamps needed for all program mailings.

Gently Used Horse Trailer
used horse trailer for transporting horses to competitions and veterinarian visits. Prefer 3 horse or larger.

Large Light Weight Saddles
3 light weight,large seat, Western saddles.
3 light weight, large seat English saddles.
Blankets and pads to go under the saddles.
