Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Nature's Edge Therapy Center, Inc. provides the highest quality intensive rehabilitation by qualified and licensed staff to our patients and their families in a safe, natural and motivational setting, promoting the human-animal bond. Our ultimate goal is to facilitate our patients' independence and integration into family, school, and society.

Our organization conducts Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) in accordance with the EQUUS Foundation Guidelines on Qualifications of Organizations Conducting Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT).
Our organization provides community outreach and/or public education programs involving horses.Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Volunteers Needed For Our ProgramsMinimum Age: 12We provide Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy to patients with disabilities. We also have a Reminiscing on the Farm program for senior citizens. Volunteers can assist with ground maintenance, assisting in sidewalking and animal interactions with our patients, fundraising, gardening, arts and crafts, office and barn assisting
