Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Swan View Therapeutic Riding Center is dedicated to improving the physical, mental & emotional well being of individuals with special needs by providing PATH based therapeutic riding activities.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers Needed
Classes are currently scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. We are always in need of people to help groom and saddle the horses and to be side walkers for our riders.

Wish List Items

Individually Wrapped Snacks For Volunteers
Any snacks that are individually wrapped - Nutter Butters, crackers, cookies, etc.

Bottled Water
Always needed for our volunteers, especially during the summer months.

Fly Spray
Pyrhana Fly Spray to help keep the horses comfortable

Mane N Tail
We like to take good care of our horses and keep them looking nice. This product helps us care for their mane and tails.

Gatorade, Bottled Drinks
We like to keep our volunteers refreshed. It would be fun to occasionally offer something besides water.
