Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
The mission of the Achievement Centers for Children is to enable and empower children with disabilities and their families to grow, learn, play and prepare for lifelong achievement in society. Our agency operates a year-round Therapeutic Horseback Riding program at Camp Cheerful, our recreational facility in Strongsville, OH. We are a certified Premier Accredited Center by PATH, International - one of only ten such centers in Ohio.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.
