Our Mission/How we are involved with horses:
NorthWest Therapeutic Riding Center is driven by our mission of ‘Giving a Leg Up to people of all abilities’. In the horse world, a “leg up” means to give someone a boost onto their horse. At the riding center the boost carries them not just onto their horses back, but also into their lives.
NWTRC provides equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) to people of all ages and abilities. The NWTRC is dedicated to enriching the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of our participants and their families in an environment which is safe, nurturing, challenging and fun.

Primary Focus involving horses (Horse Welfare, Public Service, Sport & Recreation):  Public Service

Our organization operates programs involved with providing equine assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) using certified instructors for individuals with special needs.

Our organization is directly responsible for the care and shelter of horses.

100% of our total programs and services are horse-related.

Our organization conducts its horse-related programs at one facility.
