Foundation Farm Announced as Title Sponsor of Fete Cheval

WELLINGTON, FL - February 14, 2011 - The EQUUS Foundation is pleased to announce that Foundation Farm will be the Title Sponsor for the upcoming Fete Cheval on Friday, March 11, 2011, in Wellington, Florida. Casual chic will be the attire for this fun-filled evening at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event will include a cocktail reception, auction, and dinner, but the highlight of the evening will be the gymkhana games in the International Grand Prix Arena with some of the world's top riders. Ralph Caristo, Leo Conroy, and a guest from the audience will "judge" the competitors. Mason Phelps, Jr., will emcee the event.

"We are thrilled to have Foundation Farm as the Title Sponsor of our Fete Cheval," said Elizabeth Press, co-chairing the event with Clea Newman Soderlund and Visse Wedell. Foundation Farm, located in Wellington, Florida, is home base during the Winter Equestrian Festival for well-known hunter rider and trainer Lyman T. Whitehead. "We are so appreciative to Foundation Farm for this generous donation."

Fete Cheval riders include Max Amaya, Pablo Barrios, John Brennan, Molly Ashe Cawley, Nick Dellojoio, Mario Deslauriers, Hillary Dobbs, Kent Farrington, Sandy Ferrell, Brianne Goutal, Patricia Griffith, Charlie Jayne, Laura Kraut, Beezie Madden, Kate Oliver, Rodrigo Pessoa, Peter Pletcher, Kim Prince, Havens Schatt, Louise Serio, Ken Smith, Shane Sweetnam, Jimmy Torano and McLain Ward.

One more rider will participate as part of the Foundation's carrots4acause WEF Team Fundraising program sponsored by Alessandro Albanese, Georgetown Stable Outfitters & Gracie Street Interior Design. It's easy to participate. First, form and name a team - a team can be one individual or a group of individuals. Then, stop by "The Gracie Street Corner at the Alessandro Albanese Boutique" on the show grounds of the Winter Equestrian Festival to pick up the sign up information and fundraising tools in the Bit Box donated by Georgetown Stable Outfitters. The deadline is Friday, March 4, 2011. The team that raises the most funds between now and Friday, March 4, 2011, will select a rider from the team to perform with the professional riders at the Fete Cheval on Friday, March 11, 2011.
