Dreamadora (Dora) is a 2010, KY bred Thoroughbred mare. She earned over $40k in her racing career, securing 5 firsts, 4 seconds and 3 thirds in her 31 starts. In her life after racing she fell into bad hands and was subsequently identified and rescued from an auction lot in Colorado. The ILEHC was approached to intake Dora after she completed her quarantine period with a fellow rescue and arrived with us in January of 2024. After a period of rehabilitation and rest, we moved her into our retaining program where she shined. It was love at first sight with her Adopter and she was officially adopted in May of 2025. Dora and her girl spend long days grazing, chatting, riding together and Dora gets to be pampered beyond measure, just as she deserves.
