The connection between people and horses is a hard one to describe. It is a bond unlike any other. There is a special level of trust, companionship and partnership that unless you’ve experienced it – you may not understand. Once you’ve had that equine connection – you understand it, you see it, it’s in you. Horse people understand. I saw it with Spanky. I saw Spanky’s sweet gentle nature, and kind eyes, his soft gentleman demeanor with quiet understandings. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to welcome Spanky into our home for his retirement. Another key factor was we trusted in NEER North and their adoption process and appreciated the rigor to ensure Spanky found a good home.
     We are so happy we passed!
