LEXINGTON, KY

Spa Day is a beautiful, flashy, unraced Thoroughbred. She came to the Kentucky Equine Adoption Center (KYEAC) after her previous owners used her as a brood mare and she foaled twice. When they could not get her pregnant for the third time, they gave up on her and she came to us at KYEAC for a second chance. She entered our training program and started from the ground up. Our trainers were pleased with her ability to learn quickly and to master all that we asked of her. Spa Day made her debut at the RRP event in October at the Kentucky Horse Park. She did great in front of the crowd and showed us all how far she has come. Her great attitude, flashy color, and ability to learn caught the eye of her new owner who adopted Spa Day and brought her home just in time for Christmas! Spa Day is still learning and training, but now she spends her time on a farm with other horses and two wonderful dogs. Congratulations to Spa Day!
